I think design should create enthusiasm, be playful, bold, cheeky, a contrast to the expected. People will remember different, like they will forget bland.
I work agnostic to style, methodology and tools, and love applying new ways of working. Learning through doing and sharing my knowledge to my peers. Self-taught in 3D & motion and try to apply it into my work when applicable. Bringing brands to life through motion design, defining a movement language™ that aligns with the brand – the same way we think about colour palettes and tone of voice.
Most of all I am passionate about working hands-on, creating concepts and crafting compelling experiences. Thinking big, working small – down to the nitty gritty of grids, component systems, type treatment and easing curves.
As a graphic designer with 12 years experience and core competence in brand experiences, I work broadly utilising my knowledge and skill set into visual identities, editorial, digital and motion design. From A to Z (or Å as we say).
